School/College Support
Whole School Approach and group workshops/assemblies for schools and colleges. Offering guidance and support in creating and maintaining a nurturing and supportive environment for the mental wellbeing of students/staff.

Available online (Microsoft Teams) or in person at your school/college.
My Approach
I use an integrative approach which means I combine various therapeutic models and techniques. In doing so, I can ensure I tailor each session to the unique needs of the child, young person/adult or parents.
Whether it is during individual therapy, consultations or groupwork, I do my best to create a supportive, safe, and flexible environment where people can feel heard, understood and empowered to make positive changes.
I offer a free brief consultation (up to 15 minutes) to give you the opportunity to explore what your needs are and to see if we are a suitable match for one another. Choosing the right therapist is a personal and important decision, and this no pressure conversation is an opportunity to ask questions, share what is bringing you or your child to therapy, and get a sense of how I work. If it was felt that ongoing sessions were not appropriate or would not meet your needs, I may be able to signpost you to a more appropriate service.
It can be helpful to complete the referral form before booking in for a free consultation as this helps me to get a better sense of your needs, so we can make the most of our time together.


About me
Hello, my name is Jess, Founder of Resilient Minds Midlands. I am a qualified and experienced child and young person's therapist. I am a registered member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I have over 10 years experience working with children and young people in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and schools. I am fully insured and hold an up to date DBS. My qualifications include:

As a highly experienced practitioner, I provide evidence based approaches to support the emotional wellbeing and resilience of children, young people and young adults, and can work with multiple mental health difficulties. ​

I value compassion and care and ensure that the relationship is the central part of the work provided. I create a safe, non judgemental environment, so you can feel comfortable to be yourself. ​

I am extremely passionate about what I do which drives me to provide the best possible service. I am a real person, just like you, I have lived experience of mental health difficulties and I am proud to be part of the neurodivergent community having received a diagnosis of ADHD a couple of years ago. I believe the best way to support you is to walk alongside you, not above you. You know yourself best. If you are a parent, then you know your children best, and I will always respect that. I am committed to providing compassionate guidance and support, empowering each individual to build resilience and navigate challenges with confidence and strength.
